Noble spent much of her childhood in the design department of Saatchi & Saatchi London, where her mother was the creative director.
Years later, after going to school in Paris, and art school in Brighton, her mother encouraged her into advertising. As a junior copywriter, she learnt under some of advertising’s greatest creative directors at TBWA London, and TBWA Hunt Lascaris in Johannesburg, and then briefly at Whybin TBWA Auckland.
Having obsessed over British comedy from pretty much the womb, Noble took a course in film and television, worked for many magazines, and was fired from several cafes. She then worked in numerous production roles including stills photographer, actor, and writer.
Florence created sketch comedy Blind Pilot, which lead to collaborations with Nick Boshier (Bondi Hipsters, Beached Az), including the 2014 Emmy award winning Australian comedy 7DaysLater for ABC2 and sketch comedy Meanwhile On Earth.
Her short film Things Are Going Really Well did the festival circuit including LA Comedy Festival, Sweden’s Norrkoping Film Festival and the Melbourne International Film Festival, where she attended the 2015 Accelerator Program.
Florence has made ads for brands like Bank First, Pizza Hut, Trademe, BP, FlyBuys, Long White Vodka and many more. Florence was nominated for Best Emerging Talent at the 2016 CAANZ Axis Awards.
